MSSN OAUSTECH OFF CAMPUS MOSQUE PROJECT

Imagine a community in the southwestern part of Nigeria, nestled within the serene landscapes of Igodan-lisa, Okitipupa with approximately 300 Muslims earnestly devoted to their faith, yet devoid of a single mosque. This is the reality faced by the students and staff of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo state, Nigeria.

The absence of a mosque in our community poses significant challenges to our religious obligations and communal cohesion. Our Muslim brothers and sisters, both students and staff, are constrained in fulfilling their duties to their Lord, Allah. Without a dedicated space for worship and communal gatherings, our spiritual growth and sense of community are hindered.

In response to this pressing need, we have acquired two plots of land in Igodan-lisa, situated in the region of Ondo State with the latitude and longitude coordinates of our community are 6°26'33.7"n and 4°46'29.2"e respectively, underscoring the geographical significance of this location.

We are reaching out to the entire Ummaah, seeking your assistance to erect a mosque on these plots of land. With your support, we can establish a place of worship that not only fulfills our religious duties but also serves as a beacon of hope and unity for our community.
